Why purchase a property in Valdidentro? It's a long story ...
Year 1979, end of August. After my honeymoon in May, my wife and I decided to take another four or five days off to Bormio, intrigued by an advertisement in a weekly magazine. For us it wass an unexplored area. So we start: Valtellina, here we come! Well, those four or five days become two weeks at the end, thanks to Mrs. Chicca of the Hotel Cervo (it is not advertising, but a public thank you), which, every morning, began with a "Have you been to ...? Isn't it? Then you have to go there, it's worth it! "And we went and we walked back thanking, because what we saw or visited had already won our hearts.
Fifteen days that made us discover a little paradise.
The Magnificent Land and its "Honorate Valli", the beauties of the landscape, the history, the gastronomy and the people of an immeasurably attractive valley.
Every year, sometimes on several occasions, the stay in
Alta Valtellina was a must and the departure for the return home, in Piedmont, was always a moment of sadness and regret for what we left behind. Thirty-five years have passed, a life (and it is not just a saying). Finally it's time to make a dream come true. It's time to strengthen the bond with this land so welcoming
A look at the real estate proposals and the eye falls on the Valdidentro, Piandelvino specifically, on the
Chalet Soliva, just built by Futura Real Estate, with
finishes to customize. We do not take long to decide. We saw it and loved it. And then the quality / price ratio is exceptional. The house, sighed for many years in this personal paradise, is finished according to our suggestions. Thanks to the construction company and the sales office, who have followed us step by step.
What else to add? The beauty of
Valdidentro, its green spaces in summer and snow-covered in winter, the endless walks, its clean air, the courtesy of its inhabitants, make us feel in another world. Now, taking advantage of the beautiful Chalet Soliva, stays are increasingly frequent. When I have to leave for Piedmont, because the retirement is almost there but don't yet grasp, I no longer say "I have to go home" because the my real home is here, between these mountains and these meadows, between the snow of the cross-country track and the bluer sky.
