Once upon a time ... a dream! How many times as a child I dreamed of going up, up ... up to touch the sky with a finger!
I imagined the snowy peaks of those marvelous mountains unreachable to me and I dreamed of descending them clung to a wooden sledge - those that are now no longer used - almost to brush the descents.
I always drew the mountains, both covered with snow, and sprinkled with green meadows colored with flowers and edelweiss. Then one day I was lucky enough to see them closely and touch them with my hand.
That holiday was indelible and marked forever the stretch of that colored pencil that was my life and work companion. So I began to love them more and more, when I could reach them, even in the day, so as to savor the scent and magic, in those places so enchanted and relaxing.
Reaching
Bormio was a real adventure, made by many hours of travel, because at that time the roadway was different. Then at the age of six, I was lucky enough to attend a ski course ... and I fell in love with it.
Years passed and I became a mother. My husband and I started looking for a rented apartment and found one in
Isolaccia; a couple of friends rented one and we passed with them and our baby years beautiful and carefree.
The time you know, passes quickly, but love for the mountains remains in the heart. Never ever - one day in September - I would have imagined buying one.
We passed as usual from the area for a hit and run, but our gaze focused on a new house that was rising. We stopped and were bewitched! Quality materials and construction quality were crucial. We went to the construction site for information and, shortly afterwards, we bought our house in the
Alpe Vezzola residence, in the heart of Valdidentro!
This is my testimony, made of simple words ... and indelible memories!
(P. S .: now that dream I painted it on the wall !!!)
